"Deauville" Armchair by Marc Simon for Airborne – Vintage 1960. Description. An icon of French design from the 1960s, this "Deauville" office armchair was designed by Marc Simon for the prestigious publisher Airborne. With its enveloping shell and "Space Age" style, it immediately adds an elegant and vintage touch to any interior. Features & Condition: Seat: Original black faux leather upholstery in very good condition. No tears, no scuffs, the faux leather has retained its suppleness and grain. Structure: Tubular chrome metal base. It should be noted that the chrome is slightly pitted in places, a discreet patina of time that highlights its authentic character and over 60 years of history.
