Covered vase, Chinese ginger jar in oxblood and celadon ceramic.

Beautiful large covered vase, ginger jar, urn, in ceramic or glazed porcelain with a flamed oxblood celadon finish in the style of Meiping porcelain, recent production from the 1990s-2000s, unsigned. Nice traditional shape, with its lovely lid. Maximum height covered is 35cm, 25.5cm without the lid, approximately 19cm maximum diameter. In good used condition, with a few discreet cracks on the body, one of which appears to be through, slight. Some minor signs of use and manufacturing defects, including rare grains and a few quite discreet surface scratches. The interior is not glazed, and I don't think it is waterproof, so avoid liquids. Weighs approximately 1.2kg.
