This vintage dining table has been gently cleaned while respecting the aged patina. It is ready to use. Presented here is a vintage english dining table designed by richard young for merrow associates featuring a round clear 10 mm glass top with a polished edge, raised on a polished chrome plated geometric shaped flattened steel base frame, sitting comfortably up to 6 people. This elegant & timeless table would be a practical & stylish addition to a range of interiors including art deco, traditional, 1950`s atomica, hollywood regency, 70`s glamour, industrial and contemporary. The clever design is formed from four semi-circles in polished chrome with a rectangular profile connected in the corners by four vertical bars of similar profile shape. The four bottom semicircles forming the base, and the four upper ones the top of the frame where the glass sits upon. This playful geometric design creates movement & metallic reflections & makes the table very stable & strong. The four vertical bars/legs have at top & bottom the original non-slip black pvc stoppers, either to hold the glass in place & to protect the floor. The removable clear toughened circular glass top is the original vintage to the piece. This vintage table is in very good condition for its age. The frame is sound and sturdy with no damages. The polished metal surfaces retain the original clear lacquered finish with a few superficial marks and minor rubbing in places. The plastic stoppers are all present and in good condition, with minor rubbing & marks. The glass top is in good vintage condition with no cracks, minor superficial scratches and only a minute very tiny nibble around the edge, all in line with age & use. Additional dimensions: The glass diameter is 122 cm. The pedestal base is: width: 59 cm, depth: 59 cm. Packing is offered free of charge. We take special professional care with packing. For safe transport the frame & glass top will be wrapped in bubble wrap, soft card & foam.
