Fabbian Stick Suspension Light

Here is the Stick Cylinder pendant light. This luminaire was created from a module made of Ayous wood, whose shape is inspired by that of a clamp: two elements bent and tensioned by a central support. This detail is the common thread of a collection of lamps characterised by a repetitive aspect. While the texture of the wood allows for a warm and pleasant light diffusion, the repetition of the module creates a play of unexpected graphics and shadows. It starts from a single module that behaves like a malleable material: in this way, the light source diffuses a nuanced illumination through the polishing of the wood. The light diffusion occurs through a structure adorned with slats of Ayous, a light wood of African origin. By basing itself on a natural element, the Fabbian house allows this pendant to fit into all interior styles, whether in a kitchen, living room, or dining room... The lampshade measures 65cm in height and 43cm in diameter. The cable has been shortened. The E27 bulb is included. Italian manufacturing. Designer: Matali Crasset is a French industrial designer. In the 1990s, she worked as an apprentice for two great masters of design: Philippe Starck in France and Denis Santachiara in Italy.
