Old rustic wooden stool – handcrafted

An old handcrafted stool, probably made in the early 20th century, or even the late 19th century, from solid wood worked without decorative intent, but with a genuine logic of use. The square seat is pierced with a central hole, typical of utilitarian stools (workshop, farm, old domestic use), allowing for grip or the evacuation of moisture. The slightly curved legs and simple assembly testify to furniture made to last, without industrial standardisation. The stool is in its original condition, showing signs of age and use that are perfectly consistent with its age: old patina, tool marks, natural irregularities in the wood. A slight play is noticeable between one of the legs and the structure under the seat, without affecting the overall stability. No missing parts, no structural shocks to report.
