Set of 6 Vintage Scandinavian Teak Chairs – 1960s

Set of 6 Vintage Scandinavian Teak Chairs – 1960s. The main asset of this lot lies in its organic and sculptural lines. The structure is made from blonde teak, a noble wood highly valued in Mid-Century furniture for its golden hues and great durability. The backrest is the true signature of these seats. Sculpted and curved like a "horn, " it recalls the famous "Cow Horn" style of renowned Danish designers. This is not just about aesthetics: this curvature perfectly conforms to the back, providing optimal seating comfort. Although unsigned, these pieces possess all the technical characteristics of the Danish manufacturer Korup Stolefabrik (KS Møbler). Easy integration into your decor. The timeless design allows these seats to be placed in many contemporary interiors. They will obviously be perfect around a large rectangular teak table for a total vintage look. However, they will also warm up a more modern glass or marble table. The striking contrast between the brightness of the blonde wood and the depth of the black faux leather seat adds a touch of sophistication. This is the appeal of investing in a set of 6 authentic Scandinavian chairs: they transcend eras and trends without ever losing their elegance. Condition and restoration. We place particular importance on the preservation of furniture heritage. The restoration of this set of 6 Scandinavian chairs has been carried out with care in our workshops: The structure: The wood has been meticulously sanded and then nourished with high-quality wax. This protects the teak on a daily basis while revealing its natural grain. The seats: The black faux leather upholstery is original. It is in very good condition, taut, firm, with some signs of wear (see photos). Total dimensions: Width 47.5 cm X Depth 47 cm X Height 67 cm. Seat height: 46 cm.
