Knoll Bertoia Bird Lounge Chair with Ottoman – Original Frame – Kvadra

Iconic Bird lounge chair designed by Harry Bertoia and edited by Knoll, sold with its matching ottoman. Original black lacquered steel frame in good vintage condition, with light signs of use consistent with age. Upholstery professionally redone by Knoll in the early 2000s using original Kvadrat fabric. A timeless and highly comfortable modernist design piece, both sculptural and functional. Condition: overall very good. Please note two small discreet tears on the back of the cushion (see close-up photos). Painting on original metallic structure damaged because of the time. Main seat measure: Height: approx. 102–105 cm (original dimensions). Current measured height is around 110 cm, likely due to natural aging and slight deformation of the wire structure over time. Small seat height: 39cms - width 60 cms. Sold as a set (chair + ottoman). Collection in France preferred. Shipping can be arranged at buyer expense.
