Model 'alfa' table lamp with marble base by sergio mazza for artemide, italy 1950s elegant 1999 re-edition of the iconic alfa table lamp, originally designed by sergio mazza for artemide in the late 1950s. The lamp features a substantial black marble base, a refined metal structure, and a beautifully executed thick crystal glass diffuser with vertical ribbing that softly disperses the light. This later production faithfully preserves the timeless proportions and sophisticated character of the original design. The combination of luxurious materials and understated geometry makes the alfa a true italian design classic. The lamp remains in excellent condition, with only minimal signs of age and use consistent with its vintage-inspired production. A striking piece that works equally well on a desk, side table, or bedside cabinet.
