This charming, iconic ceramic horse sculpture from the Rimini Blue series was designed in the 1960s by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, Italy. The Italian ceramic artist Aldo Londi from Montelupo was the artistic director of Bitossi in the early 1950s and created his famous Rimini Blu series in 1955. This sculpture is one of the few large animal sculptures and is in very good original condition, a true sought-after item for ceramic collectors!.
