Chest XVIIth century of Savoy 1650

Beautiful wooden chest of the seventeenth century (perhaps older) A carved face, assembly of round tail and mortise tenon. Very solid trunk, but presence of wear (see photos, the most important marks are the loss at the bottom left and the burn mark on the lid). Cover bent by time. The lock appears to have been added afterwards and appears to be dummy, or a hook is missing. Dimensions: approx. 65 X 45 X 35 cm.
