PK61A Coffee Table by Poul Kjærholm for E. Kold Christensen, Denmark. Rare and highly sought after by collectors of Scandinavian design, this coffee table with a thick 3 cm marble top on a structure of steel slats typical of this designer is simply stunning. This PK61A model is an original edition for Kold Christensen, which bears the authenticity stamp engraved into the mass of the two side crossbars. Therefore, it should not be confused with the Fritz Hansen editions from the 2000s. To date, we have not found any dealer offering this original model from the 1960s with this shape and dimension, making this table a true collector's item. Produced in the late 1960s, this table shows some signs of use and age, indicators of its authenticity and robustness.
