Vintage cracked smoked blown glass carafe

Lovely little vintage decanter in smoked blown glass. Its textured surface alternates between fine and wide cracks, more or less pronounced. Made using a very old technique of Venetian glassmakers, brought up to date in the 19th century. Its main asset: its very masterful ball shape in perfect harmony with its solid glass stopper.
