Sublime vintage vase in Bohemian glass, a sculptural creation emblematic of designer Josef Hospodka for the Chribska factory (1960s). This majestic piece stands out with its organic lines and large lobes delicately stretched hot, typical of the Mid-Century movement. The mastery of the Sommerso technique is remarkable here: an intense cobalt blue heart, whose colour is taken directly from the mass, is subtly immersed under a thick layer of transparent crystal glass. This technique offers incredible plays of light and depth depending on the exposure. Of true gallery quality, this imposing piece of art glass boasts generous dimensions: A height of 28 cm, a maximum width of 15 cm, a base of 9.5 cm, with a substantial weight of 2.26 kg. The perfectly ground pontil under the base attests to the excellence of Czechoslovak craftsmanship of the time. Condition: Perfect state of preservation. The glass is completely brilliant and pure. Light usage scratches under the base guarantee its historical authenticity. We pay absolute attention to the shipping of our pieces. Your vase will benefit from ultra-secure custom packaging (double rigid cardboard, professional cushioning, and multiple protections) for a worry-free delivery.
