Bohemian glass vase - Max Kannegiesser

This czech vase is from the nemo series, created by max kannegiesser (1922-1988) and produced by borske sklo in the 1950s and 1960s. When empty, the object offers the eye its shimmering colors thanks to its delicately colored olives of yellow, old pink, and blue. But like any expertly designed object, it also knows how to fade into the background when it fulfills its primary role, thus giving pride of place to the flowers it contains.
