Magnificent and rare set of 8 antique flat plates in white Limoges porcelain, made by Haviland & Co between 1888 and 1896. The dating is certified by the presence of the double period stamp: red stamp Haviland & Co Limoges, green stamp H&Co L, a combination used only at the end of the 19th century. These are therefore authentic pieces, not reissued. The lot features the Schleiger 146 decoration, a refined floral pattern composed of: large mauve-pink flowers, small mauve berries, grey-green veined leaves, applied in original chromolithography, a technique of great finesse characteristic of productions before 1900. The plates adopt a scalloped shape with moulded wings, typical of Haviland creations from the late 19th century. The porcelain is white, luminous, and the whole set is in very good condition despite its over 125 years of history. These remarkably preserved plates stand out for their rarity and finesse of execution. Timeless and with a discreet refinement, they harmoniously integrate into all styles of decor, from classic interiors to the most contemporary.
