F518 armchair by Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort, Netherlands 1960s Designed and produced in the 1960s. This is model f518, the largest edition. We bought this chair from former owner who bought the chair new in the 1960s. Because of the age we decided to completely restore it. The metal base is professionally spray painted and we gave the chair a nice and soft touch with new faux fur upholstery. Seat height35 cm. A beautiful item for any modern interior. Geoffrey harcourt (1935) was a designer for artifort and got his worldwide fame with designing lounge chairs and chaise longues for offices.harcourt has won many awards and became “royal designer for industry” in 1978.
