Peti - Wooden dowry chest n°14

Wooden chest from the 19th century, typical of indian dowry chests. It is decorated with geometric patterns, including several rosettes engraved on the upper part as well as on the sides. The trunk opens with a door mounted on hinges. The chest is assembled using nails and iron and brass strips. The chest is mounted on four wooden legs.
