The "Jardin d'Hiver" spirit. This antique flying table (late 19th / early 20th century) is a touching testament to the Japonisme trend in Europe. With its curved bamboo structure, it adds a bohemian and natural touch, ideal for warming up a contemporary interior. We have chosen to keep this piece strictly original. The bamboo base is sound, stable, and exhibits a beautiful finesse of execution. Top: It shows a very pronounced patina of time. The old engravings are faded, and the wood bears signs of use (stains, traces of life) that testify to its 100 years. It is a piece with a "Wabi-Sabi" soul, sold for its authenticity rather than its perfection. There is a missing section on one of the curved rattan rods on one side. Its compact format and shallow depth (34.5 cm) make it a perfect bedside table, an entry console for small spaces, or a stand for trailing plants.
