Art Nouveau double doors with small panes.

Large double glazed doors with small panes, the glass bevelled to follow the undulations of the small wooden frames. Typical of the Art Nouveau period around 1895, these doors are in very good structural condition. They come from the salon of a private mansion in Tours. They are beautifully crafted and exceedingly rare. The turned knob hinges in the shape of balls are very elegant. The paint chips off very easily, so we preferred to remove what was about to fall in order to expose certain parts of the wood. The wood is sound and in good condition.
