Pair of wrought iron chenets - late nineteenth century

Pair of wrought iron landiers with rack uprights topped with modestly engraved faceted pommels. Each of these fireplace accessories has a pair of hooks, adjustable on fourteen notches. They were initially used to hold the two bars which themselves prevented the fall of the logs of l'âtre. These four pin doors are decorated with striated patterns dissimilar to each other. These easels rest in front on a semicircular foot, also grooved, and a support 50 cm long which is perpendicular to them. ******** Period: late nineteenth. Perfect condition.
