XL lamp base in earthenware from Maison Chaumette, France circa 1980.

Sumptuous floor lamp base from the famous Maison Chaumette in Paris (stamped under the base, see photo). Made in Italy, it is emblematic of the best designs from the 1980s. The handmade lamp base is crafted in slipware with floral decoration on all sides (colours and tones true to the photos) and features an adjustable brass socket stem (up to 14 cm) allowing for varying light diffusion. It is a large model with a height of 45 cm, 54 cm for the low socket, and 68 cm for the high socket, with a diameter of 26 cm (19 cm at the base). The electric cord is 180 cm long. In perfect condition with no cracks or chips, this magnificent lamp base will suit all types of interiors, from the most classic to the most modern. The choice of a lampshade in harmony with your decor is therefore left to your discretion.
