Iconic plate from the "fish" collection created by Monique and Kurt Brunner, ceramists active in Vallauris, then in Vence. They founded the Poterie du Verseau together (1959–1988, the date of their retirement). This collection embodies the spirit of Provençal decorative ceramics from the 1950s to the 1970s, with signed, colorful pieces made at the Poterie du Verseau. The plate bears the Vence signature on the back.
