This impressive sculptural floor lamp is an Italian design from the 1970s, attributed to Antonio Pavia, featuring a stylised brass flamingo standing in front of large ginkgo-shaped leaves that diffuse the light beautifully from behind. While most documented Pavia examples feature fabric shades, this rare variant is executed entirely in textured brass, giving the lamp a stronger presence and a more dramatic reflective surface. The combination of polished metals, botanical forms and the elegant bird figure creates a luxurious Hollywood Regency aesthetic. The lamp stands at an impressive approx. 177 cm in height, making it an ideal statement piece for sophisticated interiors such as living rooms, hallways, boutique hotels or hospitality projects. The base is finished in white lacquer with brass accents. Very good vintage condition. Light surface wear, patina and minor scratches consistent with age. Fully functional wiring.
