Eastern European coffee table, consisting of a varnished wooden structure and a round tray of tempered glass. It was made in 1944 by Czech designers Karel Koelka and Antonin Kropeek for 'eské um'lecké delny. This table is part of a silver medal-winning ensemble at the Milan Triennial in 1946. The tray is new.
