Murano vase sommerso large model red and blue - Mandruzzato - 1970s

Superb Italian Mid-Century Modern art glass vase from Murano, blown, faceted, and polished, made using the sommerso technique combining baby blue and bright red in clear glass. Produced by the Murano glassworks Mandruzzato around 1970. Square-shaped vase with flat cut faces and a polished top opening. A spectacular piece from every angle. Incredible geometric work. This particular model, with its vibrant red colour and the combination of ultra-modern sky blue, makes it a sublime piece of art, current and contemporary. In good vintage condition, with some signs of use and wear. Dimensions: 7.5 X 7.5 X 30.5 cm.
