Le Corbusier b9 blond armchair, by Kohn, wooden seat 1915

Kohn armchair called "b9", or "le corbusier"... It was classified as an office chair when it was created (no. 712 at kohn from 1898, then no. 9/109 at thonet from 1904), it became a classic of bistro furniture and a "universal" seat manufactured by all manufacturers in europe. It was only when le corbusier rediscovered it in 1920 that it took the architect's name as its usual name. Seat in very good condition, beautiful "medium walnut" patina. Beautiful original seat, screen-printed and perforated design, no. V. Diameter: 45 cm, total width: 59 cm, seat height 47 cm, total height: 81 cm. Stamp and label on the back of the seat.
