Massive elm lamppost forming a chess fool

A metre high lamppost in what looks like elm. 70s. On the pedestal, one of the corners of the damaged and the head appears to have suffered a fracture that has been repaired. In the form of a failure. Blond varnish, honey color. And there are here small gaps and scratches of use but nothing that alters its appearance and gives it patina and character.
