Important Art Deco Modernist lamp, Wood, Bronze, Opaline Glass, c. 1930

Rare and elegant French Art Deco table lamp from the 1930s, notable for its generous proportions and the quality of its materials. The central shaft made of solid wood is highlighted by nickel-plated bronze elements, adorned with delicate lateral scrolls evoking a classical vocabulary reinterpreted in the Art Deco aesthetic. The whole rests on a finely crafted circular base in nickel-plated bronze, offering perfect stability and a pronounced sculptural presence. The opaline white glass lampshade, in a dome shape with faceted sides, diffuses a soft and even light, typical of fixtures from this period. This lamp has undergone careful restoration, respecting its authenticity, and features entirely new electrical components, allowing for use in accordance with current standards. Origin: France.
