What we have here is an armchair prototype. Lucky for us and for you, it's a high quality prototype done by an italian architect in the 1980s, who spared no expense when making it. A quick once-over of the upper part reveals excellent leatherette covering the strong, rather unusual elements which make it up, and also the shrewd thinking that led to placing two polished metal inserts at the sides of backrest's middle element. These two reflective rectangles are in constant dialogue with the two rectangular gaps in the backrest, and all four of them communicate with the chair's surroundings. A lot of words for saying they are a nice touch. The bottom part also projects strength as it is made out of thick, bent black steel tubing which ensures this chair is staying put, and that is non-negotiable. All in all, we're proud to have this unique and fairly strange piece - who knows, maybe it's just what you were looking for.
