Louvre lamp, Poul Henningsen

This is a rare first-generation edition of this iconic pendant lamp, designed by Poul Henningsen for the Danish Seventh-day Adventist Church in Skodsborg. First presented at a fair in Copenhagen in 1957, this iconic piece is still produced by Louis Poulsen to this day. This particular model is in remarkable condition and fully functional. It retains its original paintwork, enhanced by a beautiful patina. The lamp holder is an E40, but I will provide an E27 threaded extension, of your choice, for added flexibility.
