Martin Eisler & Carlo Hauner Concha armchair

A rush or rattan armchair from the famous, now defunct Forma brand, designed by Carlo Hauner and Martin Eisler. Picked up from my mother-in-law in Brasilia. Piece in good condition and entirely original, rattan, metal parts, and paint. Slight flaws in the rush, see photos. W: 60 cm|H: 72 cm A2: 42 cm|D: 60 cm. This modern Brazilian chair was designed by Carlo Hauner and Martin Eisler in 1955. The frame is made of a black iron structure that supports the rattan seat. The chair's seat is curved and sinks in, making it very comfortable to sit on. The slender legs and the use of rattan give this chair an elegant design and allow it to blend into any interior.
