A wonderful Maralunga Lounge Chair by Vico Magistretti for Cassina. This beauty was designed in 1973 and quickly became a design Classic. Its clever design incorporates manipulatable back cushion that can sit low, directly behind the user when seated, or extended up to provide the user with more upper back and neck support. Magistretti was an Italian Industrial designer and architect. The frame is finished from all sides, making this a perfect candidate for spaces where you want the piece away from the wall and viewable from all angles. This is an original eighties era version and with the original upholstery in a refreshing cream colored soft leather, which is spectacular on this chair. Very comfortable.
