Old oil painting signed & framed, stream in the forest.

A vintage oil on panel signed painting depicting a meandering stream in a bright undergrowth, a fresh and peaceful landscape that will bring a lovely breath of fresh air to a living room, office, or bedroom. The watercourse flows between mossy rocks, framed by young trees with slender trunks whose tender green and golden foliage lets light filter through. In the distance, a clear opening reveals a valley shrouded in mist, adding depth to the composition. The brushwork, supple and lively, accurately captures the play of light on the leaves and the movement of the water. The painting is signed at the bottom right, but the name remains difficult to decipher. It is presented in a solid oak frame stained mahogany, enhanced with golden fillets and a cream-colored mat, which beautifully highlights the green and ochre tones of the painting. For lovers of art and nature. The frame shows some wear, small losses to the gilding, and small holes on the back. (frame) W 69 X H 59 cm (artwork) W 53.5 X H 45 cm.
