This lamp base from the 1980s is an iconic piece of French post-modern design. With its raised fan (or beam) pattern and pure white enamel, it embodies the luxurious and graphic aesthetic of that decade. Its silhouette is distinguished by a beautiful swell, giving the object a sculptural presence. The finish is remarkable: a uniform and highly glossy crackled enamel that beautifully catches the light. This model fits perfectly within the lineage of creations by Jean-Claude Mahey, Pierre Vandel, or Maison Jansen, who revived the codes of Art Deco with the modernity of the 1980s (the style known as "Hollywood Regency"). Technical characteristics: Period: circa 1980. Material: crackled glazed ceramic. Colour: pure white (smooth and glossy finish). Condition: excellent state of preservation. The ceramic is intact. The original electrical system is functional (switch on cable). Dimensions: h 41 cm|w 17 cm|d 12 cm. A heavy and stable centrepiece, ideal for enhancing a lacquered sideboard, a designer desk, or a minimalist contemporary interior. (Sold without lampshade).
