Alberto Pinto pair of wenge and brass side tables 1990
Superb pair of side tables made by Alberto Pinto in the 1990s, a special order for a private hotel in Paris, inspired by the work of Eugène Printz. This pair is a perfect example of the Art Deco revival that began in the 1980s, strongly influenced by the creations of Alberto Pinto's workshops. Their structures are entirely made of wenge, providing contrast to any interior. Each table is topped with a removable tray featuring different marquetry on each side, finished with a brass rim and support. The combination of deep wood and the contrast of the finishes is simply stunning. These are unique pieces with a construction and finish of rare quality, in very good condition, fully restored in our workshop.
