Exceptionally beautiful set of two Danish dining chairs, designed by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik in the 1960s. The design is characterised by organic shapes and the refined use of solid teak. The slender, slightly curved back legs flow smoothly upwards to the wide sculptural backrest. Here, the dark wooden joints have been deliberately left visible, making them not only structural but also a distinctive decorative detail. The seat frame is also subtly shaped, with slightly curved rails and tapered legs. As a result, despite the generous use of wood, the chairs have an elegant and light appearance. Both chairs have been professionally restored and reupholstered. The teak has been carefully treated, preserving the natural wood grain and original character. The new light upholstery forms a calm contrast with the warm teak.
