Red Walnut Floor Lamp Model by Achille Castiglioni for Flos, 1970s Mid-Century Modern Italy

Floor lamp by the Italian manufacturer Flos, designed by Achille Castiglioni in the early 1970s. This is a rare red version. The name of the lamp 'Noce' means walnut in Italian, referring to the shape and robust construction of the lamp. The body is made of die-cast aluminium and the diffuser is made of thick, clear pressed glass. It features a movable axis with an outer knob to adjust the angle of the two E27 sockets (reflector bulbs not included). The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and a patina.
