Icons of Italian design from the 1970s, these DSC 106 chairs designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli embody the functional elegance and craftsmanship that made Italian furniture renowned during that era. Their anodised cast aluminium structure contrasts with the dark-stained bent wood seat and backrest, creating a perfect balance between industrial rigor and natural warmth. Stackable, sturdy, and comfortable, they were originally designed for public spaces and design institutions, but today they fit seamlessly into both contemporary and vintage interiors. Note: these chairs were found in a paint workshop, hence the traces of colour on some of them.
