Art deco desk lamp, also called notary lamp or banker's lamp, made by the belgian company erpé, model no. 52, industrial design from the 1920s-30s, marked at the bottom. This beautiful industrial bauhaus lamp has a dark green cast iron cascading base, a wrought iron neck and a dark green bakelite lampshade, and still has its original push button and wiring. Erpe stands for establissements ritzen & penners and was located in brussels. Founded in 1914 by leon ritzen and frans penners. A timeless, iconic industrial art deco desk lamp, rare in this undamaged condition.
