Set of 4 bistro chairs by J & J Khon, Austria, late 19th century

Superb set of four bistro chairs in hot-bent beechwood by Jacob and Josef Khon in Austria, dating from the late 19th century. The chairs are in excellent condition, both in terms of the woodwork and the caning. They are a very attractive, stable, and sturdy model, boasting over 130 years of use. All four chairs are stamped with a hot iron. Dimensions: 37 cm wide x 40 cm deep x 87 cm high at the back and 44.5 cm high at the seat.
