Majolica Italy ceramic lamp base

Italian majolica lamp base, circa 1970, with floral decoration adorned with a bird in the style of a bird of paradise, in red earth clay, gresante type. Plant decoration made in sgraffito by removing material from the mass, freehand. Made on a creamy white enamel background enhanced with different brightly colored enamels with a brush. Some geometric patterns on the collar and near the heel. Vase with a curved line decorated with a freehand curved movement. Good general condition, several enamel chips here and there see photos. Ht 31 X diameter 15 cm.
