Dish on pedestal Creil & Montereau Mauresque blue brown

Presentation plate on a pedestal in fine earthenware, Mauresque model by Creil & Montereau. Decorated with a structured sepia brown print featuring a stylised geometric and floral frieze, enhanced by a double deep blue border that elegantly highlights the rim. The crenellated trim along the edge reinforces the graphic rhythm of the whole piece. Stamp on the reverse: Creil & Montereau, Mauresque model. This marking dates the piece to the early 20th century. In excellent vintage condition, with a beautiful shine to the glaze, slight signs of use, and minor original glazing irregularities (see photos). Diameter 23 cm, height 4 cm. Ideal for a contemporary graphic table, balancing deep blue and natural materials.
