For sale, this rare set of 5 "Spaghetti" chairs (model 101), a cult piece of Italian design created by Giandomenico Belotti for the publisher Alias. Created in 1979, this model is so iconic that it is part of the permanent collection of MoMA in New York. Its airy structure in chrome-plated steel and its seat made of black PVC wires bring an unparalleled visual lightness to any contemporary interior. • Structure: Good overall condition, stable and robust. The chrome is clean. • Weaving: Excellent tension of the PVC wires. • Restoration detail: In the interest of complete transparency, a small repair (a knot connection on a wire) is present at the top of the backrest of one of the chairs. This work has been done with care: the knot is located inside, between two rows, making it almost invisible to the naked eye once the chair is in place. This does not affect the aesthetics or comfort in any way.
