Stag S Range Teak Sideboard by John & Sylvia Reid, 1950s

S range teak sideboard designed by john and sylvia reid in 1959 for stag and retailed through heals. This iconic piece of british design features a beech lined interior, with nickel plated ‘l’ shaped recessed handles and ‘v’shaped legs. It comprises 4 drawers, the top one with a baize lined cutlery divider and a double cupboard with 2 pull out baize lined trays and an adjustable shelf. The item is generally in a good restored condition with the odd sign of wear and tear including some minor cosmetic repairs and some pitting to the metalware.
