Pair of Art Deco bookends to signed wolf dogs

The bookends are in very good condition. They are light marble for pedestals, and bronze-colored patinated metal for dogs. One can see from the photos details that one of the corners of a marble base has a small sheen, and is in fact slightly blunt. A coating has been glued to the underside of the pedestals, type "venilia" faux wood, probably in the 50s, so that the underside of the marble block does not mark the surface of the piece of furniture on which it is placed, probably. The patina of the dogs has some traces of use, slight wear at the level of asperities. The bookends are signed "tedd" on the side of the dog's tail. Beautiful attitude of dogs with nervous and precise design, and pretty proportions make these bookends elegant and refined elements to inhabit an office, or a library.
