Oil on canvas mounted on wooden frames. Size: out of frame: 61cm X 50.2cm. Frame: 71.6cm X 61 cm. Signature: no visible signature. *** Subject. A real favourite for this beautiful portrait of "lady with the headdress". Special hairstyle to be identified. 19th century canvas (between 1820 and 1860 after the crossbar chassis and the woman's dress), but perhaps older. Original frame in its complete juice (to be refreshed), also presents some small age wear and other slight shards on its contours. One of the wooden ties on the rear frame is worm and broken (see photo), but still holds. The paint is very slightly cracked. No restoration visible on the back of the canvas or on the painting. It appears that the headdress has been cleaned to bring out the white of the fabric. This work is superb! It's like a photograph. The details of the face, the skin, the wrinkles and the finesse of the lace of the headdress are incredible. Sold in his juice. The photos are part of the description. Sending fast and extremely neat by mail with number followed. Insurance included in postage in case of loss during postal transport. Don't hesitate to ask for additional photos.
