Dulton Japanese Stool by Yasu Sasamoto

Japanese folding stool. Design by Yasuaki Sasamoto for Dulton, late 1970s. This stool reminiscent of drummer stools by its chrome tripod base is also inspired by the seats of tractor seats. The set is made of chrome-plated steel and red lacquered for the seat whose hue has passed over time to become pink on top compared to the original red visible below the seat. The seat is heightenable and tilts and the feet fold down to make this stool very compact if you want to store or carry it. The whole is stable and the shape of the seat very comfortable.
