A classic bentwood bistro chair made in France by Baumann in the 1950s. Gentiane model. Varnished beech wood. The Baumann brand was founded in 1901 by the Swiss Emile Baumann in Colombier Fontaine, France. Baumann started out as a simple child's chair but quickly grew to become a major producer of bentwood. This vintage item is fully functional and may have light wear consistent with age and use. H45 X W42 X D40 cm.
