Marble stone ball lamp of Comblanchien Ramage, Decorative arts of the twentieth century

Rare and sublime marble lamp of burgundy côte d'or (marble extracted from the quarries of comblanchien ramagé, not far from the city of beaune in côte d'or). Middle twentieth century work of spherical shape, cut and finely polished by successive horizontal bands. The weight of the lamp is very substantial (9.5 kg), no defect is to be noted and its electrification has been redone. It is sold without lampshade.
