Bedside table

Old wooden bedside table from carnac. Passed down over 3 generations, this piece of extra furniture arrived in my workshop without a door and drawer. In order to give it its chance to be adopted by fans of authenticity with eco-responsible values, I added a magnifying glass wooden tablet (instead of the missing drawer). In respect of the values and working methods of yesteryear, this furnishing is completely washed and sanded, then enhanced with blackened effect wax (wax based on natural waxes and mother-of-pearls). The exposed wooden parts are deliberately left raw in order to bring warmth and authenticity. The raw wood is protected with the wax of colorless antique dealers.
